If You really knew me, you would know that I never cry in front of others unless something really, really hard is happening in my life. You'd know that when I get upset about something I don't eat or drink anything. Last time that happened I didn't eat for almost two days straight. If you really knew me, you'd know that I cry in fictional stories and not movies that actually happened...like 17 miracles. You'd know that I would rather be the dumbest person in the world and be very talented instead of the opposite. You'd know that I hate any form of physical or emotional pain.
If you really knew me, you would know that I always feel alone in the world. When I try to speak to you, you would know that I honestly have nobody to talk to that wants to listen.
If you really knew me, you'd know that I'm the girl in the song "Paradise" by Coldplay. You'd know that my Dad lost his job on January 6, 2012 when he only had it for 4 months and hasn't had a permanent job in 4 or 5 years.
You'd know that I wish others would look at me as somethings else other than an artist. Is that all I am? Is there anything else about me that is special?
If you really knew me, you'd know that any note, card or invitation I receive from you I've kept so that I will always remember that happy memory and so I will never forget you.
You would know that I have around $200 saved in cash that's for my future trip to Japan.
You'd know that I truly...don't know who I am...and where to start...or go.

Jealousy
Sorry to say, but I couldn't find a poem that makes me jealous. But I found one that I really like and that I can relate to and understand its meaning.
The poem is "The Poet", By: Tom Wayman. Link: http://www.loc.gov/poetry/180/015.html
I really liked how nobody can relate or understand a poet unless they are some kind of poet themselves. I love the line:
" May speak much but makes little sense."
Why do I like it? Because it's so true about being an artist like myself. Fact: There isn't a huge difference between an artist that paints and an artist that writes. They just interpret the same thing in different ways. Everyone is an artist in some way. Just some are more into their own world of creation than others. But we can all relate to each other even though we are different.

Gandhi
When will we own ourselves completely? My dearest, loved one.
I want to keep fighting this battle. But are there any breaks between this thick sand in this hot desert? When will the sun set and the sand settle? I keep forgetting that this battle will never end and how the sand will never stop fogging up my already cluttered vision. No matter what, I will cross this desert and reach you again. Then, our final battle will begin. But are you there waiting for me across this endless desert? I hope that this won't be our last meeting. This is a battle for your heart, after all. Soon, the sun will set and you will be gone, or be mine. And tonight is not the last time I see the light.

My Journey
Ordinary Word:
Van goes to school everyday, chats with people he knows. Then he goes home to a home he doesn't even want to go home to. He wonders when life will eventually start to change for better...or worse.
Call to adventure:
It's Van's senior year in High School, and he has a lot of decisions to make such as his future. What is he going to be? What does he live for? Everyone else seems to know what they want for their future. He needs to make his own right now.
Refusal of the call:
Van doesn't want to even think about his future. If he had the choice, he would stay at home and draw all day. That was his passion. His only passion.
Meeting with the mentor:
He prays to God. Asking him for guidance to know what he should do. God then gives him comfort and puts Trisha in his life. She helps him by telling him small simple things, which gives him courage.
Crossing the Threshold:
Van starts taking risks. He gets out of his bubble. Van applies for colleges, scholarships, and signs up to take the ACT..again.
Tests, Allies, Enemies:
Teachers start pushing Van too hard with school work and tests. He studied really hard for the ACT, which made everything in his life harder. Friends seemed to become distant. They seemed to be living their own lives, while van felt like he was alone. 'So this is how it has to be huh?" Van often thought to himself.
Approach:
Trisha notices Van struggling in his life. She helps him study for the ACT and takes him on a few dates to cheer him up. She gives him courage with advice and listening ears. Van then steps back a minute and realizes that there are others there to help him, but that's only if he lets them in.
Ordeal:
Van decides to take the AP Art test, even though his life in in crises. It took countless hours of work, but Van finally ends up submitting the portfolio. He then continues to work toward scholarships and other things.

Van knew that was the outcome, but was more heartbroken than he thought. But because of his experiences, he knew that he could get through it and not to give up on her just yet.
